RESEO is celebrating the end of the opera season in a special way- by inviting its members to a double event –at the Opéra de Lyon and at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence – which will highlight the importance of long-term visions and projects in artistic creation and education.
First stop: Opéra de Lyon, introducing its project Kaléidoscope, act 2 “Des Odyssées... à l’Opéra”!
This project has quite a history to look back upon: the adventure already started in 2006! Creation, participation, education! Come and discover how these principles, at the centre of our Lyon member’s work, are put into practice: at the closing performance of the second act of the project Kaléidoscope (2008-2010) on Friday 25 June at 20.00, on the main stage of the opera house, with the orchestra and the Maîtrise – the opera childrens’ choir
Second stop: Festival d’Aix-en-Provence for the 2nd edition of the project Parade(s)!
This year, come and see a variety of performances and happenings around the theme “Art and Nature”, prepared throughout the year by the educational and socio-cultural activities of our member in Aix. The multi-faceted performance/event will take place on Saturday 26 June at 19.00, in the meadows, woods and magnificent courtyard of the Grand Saint-Jean, with the musicians of the London Symphony Orchestra.
Bernard Foccroulle, Director of the Festival, is pleased to invite the RESEO members to a symposium organised around this project and in the framework of the European year against poverty and social exclusion on Saturday 26 June from 12:30 to 17:00 and on Sunday 27 June from 11:00 to 13:00: “How does artistic creation help fight against social exclusion? Projects in the fields of dance, orchestras and operas: presentations and debates”.
