As part of the Get Close to Opera project, RESEO members are invited to take part in a 5-day training on 25 February – 1 March 2019 in Matera, Italy. The training is aimed at opera, arts, culture professionals, educators and artists who are interested in developing projects involving participants from intercultural backgrounds, particularly migrants and refugees. The GrowOP! young audience opera festival offers cross-artform performances, new formats, Danish and international shows and artists, family hands on experiences, outdoor shows, opera food and more. RESEO is delighted to be partnering with GrowOP! to welcome opera, music and dance education professionals to Aarhus to explore productions for young audiences.

RESEO will head back to its roots for its 2019 conference, which will explore working with vulnerable groups in partnership with founding member La Monnaie / De Munt. The conference will leverage the results of the 2-year European project Get Close to Opera, inviting arts education professionals to share and reflect in the heart of the capital of Europe.
