We’re proud to announce the launch of our Europe and Beyond programme. The programme will provide financial assistance enabling organisations and professionals based in selected countries to participate in RESEO activities while increasing the network’s geographical and cultural diversity.
The first edition will focus on the RESEO Conference 2024 in Porto, Portugal.
About the programme
The Europe and Beyond programme aims to:
- Provide selected organisations, artists and arts professionals with international visibility, networking and peer-to-peer learning opportunities
- Increase the geographical diversity of our network
- Foster the exchange of knowledge and innovative practice, methodologies and ideas across Europe and beyond
We welcome applications from organisations, artists and arts professionals active in the opera, music and dance education field based in the following countries:
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
What does the programme offer?
Grant 1
Up to five successful applicants will benefit from:
- Free registration for the RESEO Conference 2024
- A financial contribution of €575 towards travel, accommodation and visa costs.
Grant 2
Up to ten successful applicants will benefit from free registration for the RESEO Conference 2024.
Who can apply?
Eligibility criteria:
Applications are open to:
- Freelance artists and arts professionals
- Non-profit organisations, companies, collectives and cultural institutions (one representative per organisation)
Applicants should:
- Be currently active in the opera, music or dance education field
- Have at least 2 years of professional experience in opera, music and dance education
- Have never been a member of RESEO or attended an in-person RESEO event
- Be able to communicate proficiently in English
- Have full in-person availability from 24-26 October (travel time excluded) to attend the RESEO Conference 2024 in Porto, Portugal.

- Eligibility, background, skills and experience
- Motivations to apply
- Relevance of practice to the RESEO aims and current membership
