RESEO members are invited to participate in “Passerelles kicks off the programme!” on 9-10 June. The event will be organised by the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the foundation of the Passerelles department.
Throughout the weekend, artistic practice workshops, the premiere of Cuisine Musicale by Violaine Fournier’s Cie Minute Papillon and showcases of participatory projects will bring together amateur and professional artists.

Concert “APRES UN RÊVE” – Fred Nevché and the Van Kuijk Quartet
A proposal born from the meeting of musician and poet Fred Nevché, the Van Kuijk Quartet and nine adults from the ESAT du Grand Réal (association La Bourguette) living with an autistic spectrum disorder. A dozen or so writing workshops allowed each person’s expression to be set to music with the quartet, for a poetic reinterpretation of French melodies from the repertoire (Fauré, Debussy, etc.). Concert “An Extraordinary Silence” – EV’AMU & C BARRÉ
The Ensemble Vocal d’Aix-Marseille Université, EV’AMU and the instrumental ensemble C Barré will perform traditional Armenian arias and French baroque songs, under the direction of Philippe Franceschi and Sébastien Boin. In particular, they will create a piece by the composer Christina Athinodorou, commissioned by the Festival d’Aix. HOTEL MAYNIER D’OPPÈDE at 9PM
ARTISTIC PRACTICE WORKSHOPS
Offered throughout the year to Passerelles audiences, these workshops enable them to discover opera and 2023 productions through an artistic practice accessible to all.
Musical theatre, object theatre, practical workshops with instrumentalists and an opera singer, and the plastic arts will allow a general discovery of opera, but also of the 2023 programme: The Threepenny Opera, Wozzeck, Cosi fan tutte…

OBJECT THEATER WORKSHOP – WHAT’S THE PITCH?

CUISINE MUSICALE performance for young audiences
After Tout Neuf! the Minute Papillon company, directed by Violaine Fournier, returns to Aix in June to present its new creation, accessible to children aged 4 and over: a playful and festive musical proposal involving two clumsy kitchen assistants who love opera… PLACE DES MARTYRS DE LA RÉSISTANCE AT 1.00 pm and 4.30 pm
CONCERT – Nausicaa XXI
The Nausicaa XXI project questions the notions of hospitality and welcome as well as the traces of exile in our Mediterranean territory. Sylvie Paz and Maura Guerrera, in collaboration with the association Sublimes Portes and the MECS SAME, have put together a multicultural musical repertoire with young Marseillais who have recently arrived in France, based on songs, dances and rhythms that each of them has brought with them. CONCERT – THE VERY VERY BIG EXPERIMENTAL TOUBIFRI ORCHESTRA
The 18 musicians of The Very Big Experimental Toubifri Orchestra return in residence in 2023 to share their energetic and eclectic musical universe with the students of the orchestras of the Henri Barnier and Versailles secondary schools in Marseille, Charloun Rieu in Saint-Martin-de-Crau and the wind ensemble of the Cité de la Musique in Marseille.
