RESEO are delighted to be partnering with the Belgrade Dance Institute and Madlenianum Opera and Theatre for their Spring Conference 2017 Through the Lens of Higher Education. The Serbian capital will provide the ideal context for the practical workshops, presentations, debates, performances and informal moments that are the tried-and-tested basis of all RESEO conferences.
Inspiration will be drawn from the latest research in the field, with the creativity and diversity of member projects providing a comprehensive overview of what has been accomplished so far while suggesting new avenues of research. The interactions between Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and arts education will be closely explored as part of an exciting new direction for RESEO. The Belgrade Dance Institute, the only vocational professional training institute of its kind within a higher education institution in Serbia, will host the event alongside the Madlenianum Opera and Theatre. The Dance and Creative Wellness Foundation (NL) will share their expertise and knowledge of some of the most innovative dance and health programmes across Europe and beyond.
With questions such as these at the very heart of RESEO members’ work, our Spring Conference will provide the ideal opportunity to explore some of the underlying objectives of arts education through relationships with higher education institutes.
