The 12th edition of the YAMawards is now open for applications!
The Young Audiences Music Awards (YAMawards) promote creativity and innovation in young audience music.
The 2021 YAMawards are open for applications in six categories, including the brand new Best Digital Production for Young Audiences:
RESEO is proud to power the eighth edition of the Best Opera for Young Audiences Award. The award aims to promote creativity in young audience opera, supporting the development of new work (new libretto and/or composition).
Productions will be selected on the grounds of composition, libretto, process, theme/ content, staging and innovation. Productions for all age groups (babies to young adults) are eligible.
Last year’s Best Opera for Young Audiences winner was La Isla by Nuria Nuñez-Hierro (Spain).
Applications close on the 20th of June, 2021.
The YAMawards are governed by international juries composed of young audiences professionals from JM International (JMI) and RESEO.
The 2021 YAMawards nominees will be announced on the 18th of September. The winners will be announced at the YAMawards Ceremony on the 18th of October, as part of the 2021 YAMsession in Larvik, Norway.
