Le Ballet de Danse Physique Contemporaine

The intention behind the gesture

The BDPC is a non-profit organisation set up in 2023 to promote the projects of choreographer and author David Llari. Its aim is to produce and present shows, and to promote and raise awareness of choreographic art as a way of opening up to oneself, of awareness and of Art.

Aims:

To offer local initiatives to associations and schools (Coup de ballet dans les musées, Sauvez par le gong, Jeune Ballet Urbain) and this year to build a European project.

A flagship project :

  • Coup de ballet dans les musées, an innovative programme of cultural outreach through dance. Four guided sessions in the exhibition halls explore societal issues through the works in the collections.
  • Sauvé par le GONG aims to bring art and creativity back into the heart of schools by organising a performance at break time.
  • Jeune Ballet Urbain, in which 15 to 20 young dancers, aged 7 to 17, are given the opportunity to join weekly choreographic workshops free of charge. They then perform in prestigious venues emblematic of local culture.

Why they are RESEO members:

To integrate and build a European network of partners and artists.
