Lucy Bradley

Opera Director and Change Maker

I am a freelance director working in the UK and Europe in varied settings including drama schools, site specific locations and international opera houses. I have worked regularly at the leading opera houses in the UK and Europe including The Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne, Opera North and Garsington, La Scalla, Milan, Teatro Real, Madrid, and The Royal Danish Opera, Copenhagen.

Work with communities, young people and those at risk of exclusion have always been central to my work. I often make work for and with these communities. I am an inclusive practitioner having been trained within the Chicken Shed model. I have worked with marginalised and hard to reach groups; pupil referral units and with refugee groups. Inclusion and empowerment are at the heart of my work.
