Excellency and outreach
Committed to its policy of arts and cultural education, the Opéra de Lyon defends the importance of emancipation through arts and culture for all children and teenagers, whatever their situation. The Opéra de Lyon is also committed to helping people affected by inequalities in access to cultural facilities by developing projects with partners in the health, disability, justice, social and socio-professional integration sectors. Since 2006, the Opéra de Lyon has been bringing together artists and participants around collective artistic creations. Groups with diverse profiles are at work throughout the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and at the Opéra de Lyon to explore different artistic forms and create works that address major societal issues, such as artistic expression and living together.
