Aims:
YOUTH: A MAJOR ISSUE! Education is a top priority of the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège. For children, youth and families from all socio-cultural backgrounds to discover and learn to love this place of life that is the Opera, it is necessary to fight against received ideas, open doors and facilitate access. The participatory nature and the collaboration with the actors on the ground are the hallmark of our “youth” policy which develops its field of concrete actions via the following vectors: school, family, and specific prices for young people and specific projects.
A flagship project:
“Un(e) Autre…”: collective projects of expression and creation giving the word and the stage to dozens of young people who work, during more than one year, with the reinterpretation of famous operas.
